Description
When Hatchards, Mr. Porter
Mother Mann, Charles
and I were motoring northward
leaving Miami, we came
to this scene a few mis.
out of Miami-late in
Mch 1922.
Mrs Porter was with us
and Mr Hatchard carried one
of our trunks.
The freakish growth is
a "Strangling Fig" tree,
choking the life out of a
Banyan tree.
We especially enjoyed
the Peacock show here.
Our fellow, courting his
female companion showed
his beautiful plumage, never
paying heed to us mere humans.
