Description
On January [crossed out] Dec. 8 accompanied
by Mr Wm J Stahlbery of Denver
we motored to Roosevelt Dam,
by the celebrated Apache
Trail. - boulevard is a more
appropriate name now.
Sleeping at
it the Dam we decided
to return by the Miami -
Superior Highway, which is
one of the most scenic and
intensely interresting trips
to be found in our land.
Nearly at the Summit of
we took this picture,
where the road climbs back
and forth about the mountain
sides. If I remember
correctly the elvation here is
five thousand feet.
