Description

Near Hodgdensbunk [Hodgenville] and

Buffalo, Ky - the lovely

Memorial in memory of

Abraham Lincoln, whose

very, very humble one

room cabin home is

within the fine building.

This was about April 1

1923 - when we were on the

way home in the Lincoln

car.

Before the new memorial

was erected we camped

here one night - beside the

spring - just around to the

left of the scene shown - The

Guard said no one had every

asked such a privilege, so we

just grabbed it - so to speak -

The Perfects - [illegible] - a [illegible] pair

and the Wheatons - oh, yes Crings of Ind-

all overnite to Mammoth Cave, Ky -
